Find out what an MSP does, how ongoing support differs from a project and which decisions stay with your business.

IT support cost calculator
Get a starting estimate for managed IT support by choosing the options that match your business. You can try different combinations to see how they affect the budget.
The result is indicative, not a quote. We will need to check your systems, existing contracts and required coverage before confirming a service and price.
Technology partnerships
Technology partners you know
We help you choose and look after the technology your team uses every day.
Start with the people who need help
Count the people who need support, then think about how they work. Someone using a laptop and a second device is not the same support requirement as a shared workstation. Multiple sites, specialist equipment and business applications may also need a closer look.
Choose the available options as accurately as you can. Where you are unsure, make a note rather than guessing that a licence or existing supplier already covers the work. Those questions are useful when we discuss the estimate with you.
See what changes the budget
Try changing one option at a time. That makes it easier to see the effect of your choices and explain the estimate to colleagues. Keep a record of the selections as well as the total; otherwise you may find yourself comparing two amounts that include different things.
The calculator is a budgeting aid, not a full review of your IT. A business with the same headcount as yours may have different security needs, applications or support hours. Those differences need checking before either estimate becomes a purchasing decision.

From an estimate to a written quote
When you are ready to talk, we will need to review your devices, applications, sites and working hours. Existing licences and contracts matter too, along with onboarding, on-site support and any project work you want to include.
Ask for recurring service charges to be clear alongside separately priced items. Check the quotation’s tax treatment, contract term and renewal arrangements rather than reading more into the calculator total than it is intended to show. Our MSP checklist is a useful place to keep those answers.
You do not have to make every decision before contacting us. A rough estimate and a list of uncertainties are enough for a more useful first conversation about what your business needs.

Before you decide
Your questions, answered
Does using the calculator place an order or reserve a price?
No. The result is an indicative estimate only. It does not place an order, reserve a price or replace a formal quotation. The final amount depends on the requirements we confirm with you and the commercial terms in the written proposal.
What information should I have to hand?
Start with your user count and the options the calculator asks you to choose. For the follow-up discussion, a list of devices, important applications, locations and existing licences will help. You can note any unknowns rather than delaying the conversation until your inventory is perfect.
Why might the final quote differ from the estimate?
Your environment may need different coverage, additional work or licences that are not fully described by the available selections. Onboarding and one-off projects also need to be considered separately. We check those details with you before confirming the scope and price in a proposal.
Can I use the result to compare other providers?
Use it as a starting point, but compare what each amount includes. Check service hours, supported systems, licences and project charges alongside the price. Keep your calculator selections with the result so you are not comparing different support assumptions without realising it.
