Modern workplace consultancy

A new workplace platform needs to work for the people using it, not just the team deploying it. We help turn your goals for collaboration, devices and access into a plan with practical tests and a clear route to rollout.

Understand the workplace you have before designing the next one

We review applications, identity, devices, licences and the support processes already in use. Include people with different needs: remote staff, shared-device users and external collaborators may rely on tasks that a standard office test misses.

Local software, a printing workflow or a supplier integration can hold up a wider change. Finding those dependencies early gives the plan somewhere to address them, rather than leaving the rollout team to improvise once staff are affected.

Make the design decisions understandable

The engagement can provide a current-state review, requirements and a target approach with alternatives. Licensing, access and device-management dependencies need to be visible alongside the intended benefits.

A useful pilot includes representative business tasks and named acceptance owners. For a move to centrally managed devices, that means more than successful enrolment: application deployment, recovery access and replacing a device can all affect whether the environment is usable.

Plan the people’s side of the rollout too

Staging, communications and support handover belong beside the technical steps. Staff need to know what changes and where to ask for help. The support team needs records and an understood route for the issues that the pilot did not reveal.

The proposal should say whether configuration and rollout are included or follow as separate work. Decide who maintains the result after acceptance, rather than assume the project team will stay responsible indefinitely.

For a focused device-management question, see Intune consultancy. Modern workplace explains the broader business choices. We can begin with your existing tools and identify whether the gap is a new capability, a configuration change or clearer ownership.

Before you decide

Your questions, answered

Can the plan use tools we already own?

Yes. Existing licences, configurations and operating arrangements are part of the starting review. Recommendations should explain why something needs to change and whether the answer is a product, a setting or a clearer process. A workplace improvement does not automatically require replacing the whole platform.

Will the consultancy include the rollout?

That depends on the engagement agreed. A review and design can be delivered for your own team to implement, or configuration and rollout work can be included explicitly. The proposal needs to distinguish those outputs and the acceptance responsibilities so advice is not mistaken for an already-authorised deployment.

How do we make sure different staff groups are considered?

Include representative working tasks and people when gathering requirements and planning the pilot. Shared devices, remote work and external collaboration may introduce different needs. The acceptance checks should reflect those journeys rather than rely on a test that only demonstrates the experience of the IT team.

Who looks after the environment once the project ends?

That should be agreed before handover. Ongoing administration, user support and approval responsibilities may be split between your team, Proxar and suppliers. Documentation and known outstanding actions need to reach those owners so the environment remains understandable after the people who designed it move on.
