Meraki consultancy

The Meraki dashboard is useful, but it does not tell the whole story of a site. We help connect the configuration and equipment to the way your people use the network, whether you are investigating a fault or planning an expansion.

Look at the site behind the dashboard

Device records, licences, site plans and the applications affected help establish what the review needs to answer. Confirm dashboard ownership, delegated access and which organisation or network is included before examining the configuration.

Wireless problems particularly need physical context. A remote configuration review cannot establish every building or radio-frequency constraint without suitable information or survey work. The findings should be honest about where site evidence is still needed.

Follow the problem rather than the first plausible setting

A guest-network issue could involve access policy, address allocation or a captive-portal dependency. The review needs to distinguish what the available evidence supports from what requires more testing before a change is recommended.

We agree the output around your question: findings, configuration or design recommendations, equipment implications or a validation plan. Licensing and implementation dependencies need to be visible where relevant, so a proposed adjustment is not mistaken for a complete solution before its prerequisites are checked.

Choose what happens after the review

Consultancy can provide recommendations without modifying production. Any live changes need to be included and authorised, with appropriate checks and a clear handover to the people operating the network.

Meraki office designs covers new-office layout and deployment requirements. Cisco and Meraki management is the route for ongoing administration.

Tell us which sites are involved, what staff are experiencing and what is about to change. Starting there helps keep the engagement focused on a useful answer rather than reviewing every setting simply because it is available in the console.

Before you decide

Your questions, answered

Will a consultancy review change our live configuration?

Only when implementation is included and authorised. A review can examine the available evidence and provide recommendations without modifying production. Proposed changes still need approval and validation, particularly where they affect more users or services than the original issue suggests.

Can a remote review solve every wireless coverage question?

No. Dashboard and configuration information can help, but the building, layout and radio conditions may need appropriate site evidence or survey work. We identify those limits before treating a remote review as a complete view of wireless performance throughout a location.

Can you help plan an expansion rather than fix a fault?

Yes. We can discuss a focused review of the planned change, current equipment and site requirements. The output might compare approaches and identify design, licensing or validation work needed before deployment. A larger office-design or installation engagement is defined separately where required.

What access and information will you need?

That depends on the review, but useful inputs include site plans, the device inventory, licence arrangements and the affected applications. Dashboard ownership and delegated permissions need to be confirmed. We agree the access required for the work rather than request unrestricted control without a clear purpose.

Your next step

What needs a closer look in your Meraki environment?

Tell us which sites are involved and whether the question is a fault, a review or a planned change. We will help identify the evidence and site context needed for a practical recommendation.
