Microsoft Intune consultancy

Intune should make device management easier to run, not leave your team untangling unexplained policies. We help you introduce it or improve an existing setup, with a design and pilot based on your users, devices and applications.

Different devices may need different arrangements

A corporate laptop, a shared computer and a personal phone do not have the same ownership or working pattern. We review the platforms, existing management and applications before recommending enrolment or policy choices.

For personal devices, staff also need to understand what the business manages and what it does not. The technical configuration and the explanation given to users should tell the same story.

Give every policy a reason and an intended audience

Configuration, compliance and application deployment are related jobs, but they do different things. A policy needs a purpose, a target group and an understood exception route where one is required.

Where device compliance contributes to Microsoft Entra Conditional Access decisions, the settings need testing together. Recovery arrangements matter too: an unexpected access result should not leave your administrators without an appropriate way to investigate and put it right.

Test the way the business works

One successful IT test device is not enough to represent the whole organisation. Include the applications, device types and working patterns that matter, from enrolment and software installation to access and replacement-device tasks.

Resolve the findings or have them explicitly accepted before wider assignment. A pilot is useful because it finds problems while the affected group is small, not because it supplies a quick success message before a predetermined rollout.

Leave a setup someone else can understand

The handover should explain what each policy does, where it applies and how exceptions are managed. Support staff need a useful starting point for devices that do not enrol, report an unexpected state or miss an application.

Microsoft endpoint support covers assistance after implementation where agreed. Modern workplace consultancy looks at the wider programme. Keeping those responsibilities explicit helps prevent a completed deployment from becoming an unsupported collection of settings.

Before you decide

Your questions, answered

Should every device get the same policies?

No. Available controls and suitable settings differ by platform, ownership and use. The design should account for shared devices, personal equipment and specialist applications where relevant. Differences should be intentional and documented rather than emerge through untracked exceptions when the standard policy does not work for someone.

Can you review the Intune setup we already have?

Yes. We can discuss a focused review of current assignments, policies and operational problems. The findings help distinguish a configuration adjustment from a wider design or rollout issue. We agree the work needed rather than assume that an existing deployment has to be replaced from the beginning.

What should an Intune pilot include?

Use representative devices, applications and working patterns, not just a convenient IT laptop. Test enrolment, application installation, access to business resources and the support process when something goes wrong. Findings need resolution or explicit acceptance before expanding the assignments to a wider group.

Does consultancy include supporting devices afterwards?

Continuing endpoint support is a separate service decision. The project should still leave usable documentation and a clear handover, including policy purpose and troubleshooting routes. We agree who maintains the configuration and helps users after acceptance so the deployment does not lose ownership when the initial work ends.

Your next step

What is making Intune harder to manage than it should be?

Tell us which devices you support and whether you are starting out or reviewing an existing deployment. We will help you plan the design, testing and handover around the problems your team needs to solve.
