Plan or improve Intune around real device needs, with purposeful policies, representative testing and a clear support handover.
Proxar · UK expertise
Network consultancy
A slow application does not always need more bandwidth, and an unreliable connection does not always need new equipment. We help you understand the problem and compare changes against the evidence before you commit to a purchase or design.
Technology partnerships
Technology partners you know
We help you choose and look after the technology your team uses every day.
Describe what works, what fails and when
The affected application, users, locations and timing provide a useful starting point. Include recent changes and examples of the same task working normally. Network diagrams, address plans and supplier records help identify the paths and dependencies involved.
The investigation needs room to distinguish network evidence from endpoint, application or external-service problems. We agree the boundaries and available access before treating a symptom as proof that one particular component is at fault.
Make the review support a decision
Your team may need a current-state summary, evidence from diagnostic work or options for remediation and redesign. The output should explain the trade-offs and the questions that could still change the recommendation.
An unreliable branch connection, for example, may involve a carrier fault, shared failure paths or unsuitable traffic settings. Compare the options against that failure scenario and its business effect rather than simply choose the largest capacity or newest device.

Keep the next step and its owner clear
Recommendations need delivery dependencies, test criteria and a route to approval. Procurement, installation and continuing support are separate responsibilities to identify; a review should not leave you unsure whether any of those activities have been commissioned.
For vendor-specific work, see Cisco consultancy or Meraki consultancy. Mixed environments may also need specialist supplier access, which should be considered before promising the investigation can cover every component.
Bring the evidence you have, even when the cause is uncertain. The point of the review is to make that uncertainty smaller and the next decision better informed, not to start by assuming the answer is a network replacement.

Before you decide
Your questions, answered
Can you review a network with several vendors?
We can assess the proposed environment and the evidence available across its components. Some products or supplier-managed services may need specialist access or assistance. We identify those dependencies before agreeing the investigation so the coverage does not imply visibility or authority that the review will not have.
Do we need a complete network diagram first?
Existing diagrams are helpful, but gaps can be identified as part of establishing the work. We need to distinguish confirmed connections from assumptions and decide what discovery is required. An incomplete record should not be silently treated as accurate when it could change the investigation or recommendation.
Will the answer necessarily involve new equipment?
No. The evidence may point to configuration, a carrier issue, an application dependency or another cause. Equipment replacement is one possible outcome, not the starting assumption. Any recommendation should explain why it addresses the observed problem and what checks will show whether it has worked.
Can our team implement the recommendations?
The engagement can be structured to provide findings and a plan for your team, with implementation responsibilities agreed separately. Useful handover needs the intended changes, dependencies, approvals and validation checks. Continuing support is another decision, rather than something automatically included in a consultancy report.
Your next step
What can your staff not do reliably over the network?
Tell us where the problem occurs, what has already been tried and which decision needs an answer. We will help you plan a review around the evidence rather than jump straight to another equipment purchase.
